GCR is a leading antitrust news service, trusted by government agencies and the legal industry for timely insights on enforcement and policy developments. Our US-based reporters collaborate with colleagues worldwide to produce exclusive stories on topics like the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Congress, and US courts. You’ll produce daily stories, contribute to our Tipline briefing, and develop access to key decision-makers in both private practice and government. Our coverage often digs deeper than mainstream press, asking questions others haven't yet considered. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop as a reporter covering a highly specialized and increasingly relevant beat, within a collaborative environment that values success. Key Responsibilities Producing daily stories for GCR USA Collaborating with other reporters on the Tipline briefing Writing features and conducting interviews Working with a global team of journalists across Washington, London, Brussels, and Hong Kong Covering hearings before Congress and US courts, and attending conferences domestically and internationally Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Degree in journalism, law, or legal reporting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Self-motivated, confident in covering technical topics Collaborative team player Networking skills, source development, and questioning ability Knowledge of antitrust law is a plus Preference for candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC; remote applications considered Why Join Us?
