About the Role

The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a career services coach and advisor, empowering students to engage in early career exploration, skill-building, and the creation of meaningful career pathways. This role involves providing comprehensive career coaching services, including industry exploration, goal setting, and development of career plans. The Career Coach will also be responsible for program implementation support, delivering industry-focused career programming, and creating tailored resources for the diverse disciplinary specialties within the College. Additionally, the role includes representing the College of Education in various meetings and conferences, and maintaining effective communications with employers and other career services personnel. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years' of experience in career services, or a Bachelor's degree and 6 years' of experience. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in working with students in a career or mentoring capacity, excellent project management abilities, and proficiency in MS Office. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and experience with academic or career coaching, as well as familiarity with tools such as Canvas, Canva, Handshake, and Zoom. The role requires a professional who is comfortable presenting to large groups, is adept at career counseling, and is committed to the professional development of students.
