A packaging manufacturer near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for a Quality Manager to join their plant. You will oversee the Quality Department team & activities. The ideal candidate will have Quality management experience within the packaging manufacturing industry.

 

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.

 

Responsibilities:

· Utilize continuous improvement activities to manage Quality direction

· Hands-on leadership – ensure performance goals are met

· Monitor Quality Assurance – meet food & safety requirements

· Ensure Quality Management System compliance – plan & execute supplier audits

· Support interdepartmental communication – address & resolve customer issues

· Support all quality process functions (customer & product design to product delivery & customer satisfaction)

· Monitor & meet budget goals – lead cost reduction activities

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Technical degree preferred)

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality leadership within a manufacturing facility

· Quality Management System experience (ISO 9001)

· Food Safety Management System experience (BRC or ISO 22000)

· Attention to detail & strong organizational skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
