POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Field Deployment Engineer to join our team to support one of top clients in [LOCATION TBD]. The engineer will directly work with client system engineers, local client logistics teams, and with other Field Deployment engineers remotely. Be responsible for deploying different types of robots to field, including preparation, data entry, data analysis, and post activities. This is a full-time, long term benefited position with competitive compensation
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
o Site survey (getting maps, deciding on docking locations, creating routes)
o Preparing/maintaining installation toolkit
o Point-of-Contact liaison for site requirements like badges, moving equipment, debugging.
o Initializing robot and configurate backend support system
o Creating, capturing and archiving robot configuration data
o End-of-line testing to verify shipping hardware
o Burn-in testing to qualify field worthiness
o Disassembly, preparing robot for shipping
o Travel to installation sites
o On-site assembly, bringup, and functional verification
o On-site operation verification
o Point of Contact training
o Collecting site data for developers
o Review of Installation process for improvement
o Customer support for Points of Contact with field problems
