Job Description

ProArch is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

  • Files sales tax report and maintain related accounts and records.

  • Support external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

  • Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making.

  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in accounting software, NetSuite preferred, and advance Microsoft Excel Knowledge is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
