The role is based in Orlando , and it offers the perfect balance of technical design work, team collaboration, and client engagement.

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer , you'll lead the design and coordination of electrical and low voltage systems for complex, large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and coordination of electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings
  • Develop and review technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates
  • Plan and design low voltage systems: security, CCTV, access control, and telecommunications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges with practical, innovative solutions
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to support construction efforts
  • Mentor and guide junior engineering staff
  • Ensure quality through active participation in QA/QC reviews and internal standards development
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver fully integrated solutions
  • Contribute to marketing efforts and long-term strategic planning
  • Occasionally work flexible hours to meet project deadlines or client needs

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical and low voltage design
  • PE licensure required; ability to obtain Florida PE within 6 months
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA industry standards
  • Strong working knowledge of low voltage systems (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, etc.)
  • RCDD and/or Infocomm CTS certifications a plus
  • Experience working on projects in aviation, education, or government sectors
  • Strong command of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

Key Competencies

  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and solve complex design challenges
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professionalism in managing sensitive or confidential client information

Licensure Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Active PE license (multi-state licensure preferred)

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

If you're looking for a role where your expertise is valued, your leadership makes a real impact, and your projects serve a bigger purpose—this could be your next big career move. Let’s connect and talk more about how this opportunity could align with your goals.
