Our Irving, TX-based client is in search of a Sr. Network Engineer to join their growing team. The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for the security, design, and performance of the company’s computer networks, and the integration of all telecom services and devices. This is a direct-hire position and work schedule is 4 days onsite each week .

SALARY OFFERED : $125K - $150k range depending on candidates’ experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Manage all network and security systems across a large-scale enterprise while maintaining the availability and integrity of these systems.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Resolve escalated network issues, provide technical support, and guide junior engineers in troubleshooting.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd-tier support to resolve business-critical network and security problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Ensure all issues regarding system or network automated alerts are logged, tracked, and resolved; manage alerts and events through the enterprise trouble ticketing tool.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in network engineering, including experience with network hardware and software, routing protocols, and security technologies.
• 7+ years of Cisco Nexus 7k,9k, Catalyst routers and switches.
• MUST HAVE 3+ years of Fortinet Firewall experience (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Strong experience with Multiple routing protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with various networking technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• CCNE, CCNA, or CCNP preferred.
• Preferred: SolarWinds, Fortinet, Ruckus Wireless, Cisco ISE, SDWAN, Azure Networking, Site to Site VPN, IPsec, SSLVPN.
