Position Overview As an XL Non-CDL Cargo Van Delivery Driver , you will play a crucial role in the efficient and timely delivery of oversized packages and goods; with the potential for install/assembly as well as scheduled return pickups. You will navigate through designated routes to ensure that Amazon's commitment to exceptional customer service is upheld. This position demands a high level of r esponsibility, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Our Cargo Vans operate out of HRD2 Amazon Delivery Station (805 S Briggs Ave, Durham, NC 27703) Shifts are available 7 days a week 2-4 Day, 10 Hour Shifts (One weekend day a month required) Shift start at 10am $20.00/ Hour Responsibilities Safe Driving and Vehicle Maintenance: Safely operate an extra-large delivery vehicle to transport oversized packages to their designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and Amazon's safety protocols. Maintain metrics related to attendance, performance, and safety. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Package Handling and Customer Interaction: Handle oversized packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded from the delivery vehicle. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally. Represent Tactical Distribution Management LLC with a positive and customer-centric attitude. Technology Utilization: Effectively use Amazon's delivery technology, mobile apps, and handheld devices for tracking deliveries and updating delivery statuses. Report any technology-related issues promptly.
